12/10/12 Monday –

Squat: 73%x10x3 – up weight on last set if you can, no missed reps
Block snatch mid-thigh: 70%x3x5 – up weight on last two sets if no misses and feel good
GHD Sit-ups: 3x18 UNBROKEN
EMOM for 8 min: odd minutes 3 OHS @ 70% of 1RM OHS (try 70% of snatch if no 1RM OHS), even minutes 12/8 ring push-ups

  12. Today's workout was a huge gut check. Been sick for the past week and have eaten like 2 solid meals since last Wed and haven't moved further than couch --> bathroom --> kitchen.

    All that said, probably not smart to jump back in as written.

    Squat - 255, 255, 260
    Snatch - 145 (no misses until 3rd rep on last set, then missed 3x before I got the last one) - snatch feels AWESOME.
    GHD situps - complete but again on Garage-Ghetto-Rig (anchored over part of my pulling blocks)
    Conditioning - complete @ 165 (missed 3rd rep on last set, had to pick it back up and finish), ring pushups UB.

    Days like today are really important to that mental strength come competition day...

  13. Squat-175, 175, 180. Felt surprisingly good however....I will be boycotting any more squats. I feel as though my booty will bust out of my skinny jean at any moment ;)
    Snatch-100 did not feel awesome, shoulders are uber smoked
    Metcon-started OHS at 115 had to drop to 105, shoulders kept giving out, ring push ups felt pretty good. All in all very tired.
