Hang power snatch: fastx3x5

Pause front squat: 65%x3x5

3 rounds for total time: 10 deadlifts (225/155lbs), 10 bar-facing burpees, 10 handstand push-ups, 20 unbroken kb swings (70/50lbs)

    Was going okay until my back started to scream at the start of rd 3. Had to drop the kb and go 10 and 10 last round. That wod should be named, "The Low Back Scream"

  6. Pause squat was relly hard for me at 95 lbs.
    MC: 15:54. Dl at 155 is 75 % of my 1 RM, big weight for me and slowed me down. MY HSPUS are in bad place right now.
    I also had to break up the swings half way through.. Unsure of what to do in that situation. Take a longer break to recover to complete KB swings unbroken? Or break them up like I did to finish faster?

    MC: 26:02...
    ...BUT I knew I was going to go slow having been out of the gym so much this month so I wanted to just do it rx. The DL was over 75% of my 1rm and a 50# kb is still heavy for me. I did half the hspu with 25# plates then had to drop to 1 abmat. Against my mind's wishes, I had to do the last 20 kb swings in 2 sets. However, I was very proud of this one bc it was really hard for me and I feel out of shape from Christmas.
