Tuesday 2/19/13

Power snatch: 60%x2, 65%x2, 70%x2x3
Clean: 60%x3, 70%x3x2, 80%x3x2
Snatch high pull: 80%x4x4
Conditioning: 3RNFT – 5 DB push press each arm as heavy as possible, 10 strict parallette HSPU (set deficit with abmats to something manageable, ladies may band as needed), 10 total lunges with 2 KB in front rack position (50/35lbs)

    metcon: 45# DB (I am pretty sure I could do 55# with my right arm, but that darn left arm said that 45# was "as heavy as possible"
    -didn't do parallettes, cause when I tried it was unrealistic at this current juncture in time. I stacked a 25 and 45# plate on top of one another and did them with 1 abmat...definitely challenging but do-able with a kip. At least I worked on deficit HSPU right?! :)

    Clean: 180, 210, 240 hit all except last set of 240 due to lower back tightness from yesterday's GHD's. no injury just using my head.

    Metcon: went well used 70# DB and did a pretty serious deficit on HSPU's. overall a good day.

    Did regular HSPU, need to get better at these, working on my ROM all day err day.

    metcon: 50# db; parallette HSPU with many mats, doing them with parallettes doesn't hurt my wrist, so yay.

    PS: 70/75/80
    Clean: 90/110/120 (definitely had to power clean by the end)
    SHP: 90
    Conditioning: Only completed 2 rounds because of time constraints. Used 40# DB (same sitch as Katie, right and left arms are not balanced) and banded strict HSPU on DB. Had one pretty massive and entertaining wipe out while trying to get upside down on band. Accidentally got a lil intimate with the rubber band, it was scary...and funny.

  8. Did Monday's Strength and metcon and added a little to the strength to get more caught up:

    Snatch:
    85, 100, then did 4x2 at 105 and 4x2 at 115 because I added wrong the on the first four sets...oops
    CJ: 110, 130, 145
    Squats: 145, 160, 185
    Press: 95#

    10!: 8:41

    *didn't feel good on lifting today. Snatch felt decent, but clean and jerk and squats just felt very slow and "off".

  10. Workin a day behind wah wah...
    PS 100, 110, 120--felt fast smooth and strong...left me smiling and satisfied...
    Clean: 125, 145, 170
    Sn HP: 135
    Condish: Also had to scale deficit to flat to do parallettes and strict, so I felt like I did some stuff.
