Monday 3/25/13

Snatch: 60%x2, 70%x2, 80%x2, 85%x2, 90%x1, 80%x2, 85%x2, 90%x1
Clean and jerk: 60%x2+1, 70%x2+1, 80%x2+1, 85%x2+1, 90%x1+1, 80%x2+1, 85%x2+1, 90%x1+1
Front Squat: 60%x3, 70%x3, 80%x3, 85%x3, 90%x2, 80%x3, 85%x2
Conditioning: EMOM 12 min – even min do 3 heavy presses (may add weight each min), odd min do 8 hard, fast pulls on the rower (aim for 30+ SPM)

    snatch: 80-95-110-115(failed both)-120(failed)-110-115-120(missed again)
    c&j: 100-115-130-140-150-130-140-150(missed jerk out in front. I haven't done this in over a month...boo)
    *I'm gonna have to come back tonight and do the front squats and metcon. This was my first 5am day in 2 weeks, so I chalk the way this morning went up to getting back in to the swing of things!

    Man, am I exhausted, but grace is sweeter in these moments :)

    FS: 120-140-160-1790-180 (didn't do last two drop sets. My back is still hating me right now, so I couldn't do anymore)

    Conditioning: did all press sets at 95#

    **overall it was a good lifting day. I have had two days off, which my body was thankful for, so lifting went well.

      *again, I love squats. They always make me feel better after a not so good day of other lifts!
      conditioning: pressed at 65# cause that thing (muscle) under my right armpit hurts immensely when going over head.

  2. Just let me say that today was one of the stinkin hardest lifting days ever. Lifting that heavy then drop setting heavy then back to really heavy again was awful.

    Snatch: 80x2, 95x2, 110x2, 115x2, 120x1, 115x2, 120x1, 110x2 (accidentally did my drop sets backwards). Hit both my 90% but felt sooooooo heavy

    C&J: 105, 125, 140, 150, 160 (F-jerk...too far forward), 140, 150, 160 (F...got under but decided standing up was not an option)

    FS: 110x3, 125x3, 145x3, 155x2 (didn't try 3rd rep felt so heavy), 160x2! (YAY I missed this last week), 145x3, 155x2

    Rested about an hour...

    MC: Press (75)- and Biked instead of Row due to lumbar

  3. Snatch 85,100,110,120,125....110,120,125..I got the 125 the first time I did 90% but missed it the second time
    C&J-100,120,140,145,155,140,145,155...missed 155 the last time.
    Front squat.. 120,140,160,170,180...soooo this didn't go well..I couldn't get past 160 for some reason..
    Conditioning- did all press at 95.should have went to 100 but was too lazy

  4. Snatch, 85, 95, 110, hit all and they felt and looked like good form. but at 115, 120 things went down hill fast.
    Clean and jerk, 110, 125, 135, 145 stopped there cause after 135 its very hard to keep tight and my back was starting to hurt. yes I know prob shouldn't have even tried but I wanted to test it out this morning.
    Front squat, attempted 95 and 135 just warming up but they weren't happening. Couldnt push my hips back to squat correctly without pain. So left and went to doc.


    Came back later to do Metcon @ 85#. Kept weight light so that I wouldn't over extend the back and biked instead of rowed.
