I'll be in Cabo for 13.3 for a wedding. This was planned before I checked open dates or I probably wouldn't have agreed to go. I found a gym there that is competing so hopefully they can verify me. Otherwise I'll video submit. Good luck to everyone. I'd like to say something witty in spanish here, but I only know how to order a beer and ask where the bathroom is. See you next week.
EMOM - Tried to strap, they were more hurtful than helpful because my grip kept sliding. The sets I used them on I could only get 2 and the 3rd would slip. Without I was able to complete the sets, but the 3rd rep was a difficult and very deep Power snatch.
ReplyDeleteMC - 13:20 (Dips felt better than normal but still had to do singles from the very beginning, pull-ups much harder than normal)
MC2 - 8R + 7 HSPU on the round of 10. Did every set UB on HSPU and GHD Sit ups until the round of 10. My arms went to complete jelly at that point.

Conditioning: Got through the round of 10 plus 2 hspu.
Feeling deeply fatigued ever since 13.2. Been eating normally and getting normal sleep. Monday and Tuesday I just felt weak and slow.

15-12-9: split up between morning and evening because I was taking an eternity forcing myself to do dips without a band...success!
Thankful that my husband talked me in to going back in to finish the 15-12-9 because I got tons of work with my dips and my weaknesses!
my AMRAP 4 min is ambiguous...I finished the round of 8 and then did 10 HSPU...aka I was working on round 10. That's much more clear :)

ReplyDeleteAMRAP 4 min: Thought this might be a good time to go from ground with no abmat...arguable because I finished 2 +3 HSPU and spent the remaining 3:30 trying to get my 4th HSPU. When I finally did, I figured I would just keep on working that movement so just stayed there for most of the 4 min...
15-12-9: I am probably the only person here who struggled more with the DLs than the pull ups. And of course, I did this workout alone. I was worried I was taking too long doing it all unbanded so at 15:00 I decided to band my last 2 sets of dips and finished at 18:30.
