  1. Snatch: hit 145 :) Yay 5# PR

Clean and Jerk: failed the jerk barely on 180, but that was a clean PR. Then went for 185 and got the clean (another PR) but missed the jerk as my back foot slid. Bummer. Super happy with the cleans though. I was not expecting 185 at all

Squat: Ran out of time, so I was rushing them. Worked successfully to 220, then did 230 once and failed and had to be done. I'll probably try to 1RM that again this week sometime to see where I get to.

Overall super pleased. It was fun to have everyone in the gym together, and go for PR's. Great job everyone!

  2. No maxing for me. Did the usual 30 reps of snatches and clean and jerks and of course 3x25 front squat. Metcon of step ups and hand release pushups. 77Pu and 102 syeps. 6min odd min pu even min step up

  3. snatch: 130 (yay for that PR that I've been working on forever)

c&j: 165 (That was my projected PR, so I'm pumped about that! It didn't feel bad so I decided to try for more. Cleaned 170 [PR] no problem, but when I went to jerk it I could tell that I was super tired from all the time spent snatching.)

squat: 245 (Also my projected PR! This might be what I'm most proud of because when I set it as my projected, it was kind of a shot in the dark and I just did it because Caleb told me to. Super pleased!)

Such a fun day in the gym! Love days when everyone gets behind each other for a common cause :) I'm so proud of everyone's efforts because I can tell we all have been working so so hard and it's paying off!

  4. I'll second CC and KG's enthusiasm for Saturday - always great to lift with (almost) everyone who started this cycle.

Snatched 225#, which wasn't my projected, but was a PR. I'll definitely take it with all the inconsistent training over the past 2-3 months. Tried 230, and I think it could happen (possibly could've on Saturday) very soon.

CnJ 285#, another PR - and the jerk felt like I could've added another 20# and still got it. Tried 290, and the clean was like butter, but I couldn't get my head through on the jerk. Next time.

Running out of time on the squat. I hit 345, then went for 365 (projected PR), and couldn't hold out the grind. SOOOOO close. Oh well. I was excited about the day.

For those of you who didn't PR - don't get down on yourself. All-in-all, EVERYONE has gotten substantially stronger on this cycle and more consistent at heavier weights. Stay psyched.
