Skill EMOM: my handstand walks are getting better, but still not where I would like. I did dips for my goat.

*I was still so dizzy, even after rest, from Jackie. And I need to do some callus maintenance because I could feel them beginning to rip.
Skill EMOM: handstand walks, and I did 5 one arm kb snatches each arm on the odd minutes.
ReplyDeleteJackie: 7:32... eh, it was okay. Never really know where I should "pace" my row on Jackie. Should have gone unbroken on the pullups, and could have, but broke it into two sets. The 45# bar was harder than I thought but I never put the bar down for the thrusters, thanks to doing them with KTG (and yes, my butt was screaming from yesterdays lunges).
AMRAP: 3+27 (2 45# plates each side with one ab matt)
Overall not a bad day in the gym. I enjoyed the EMOM work and metcons.

ReplyDeleteSkill: EMOM 10 min – I actually walked on my hands the length of 1 mat in a controlled manner. 400% improvement!
Conditioning: AMRAP 6 min – 3 rounds + 5 HSPU. I was bringing feet down from the top of the HSPU and not lowering after the second round. Jessie said that's not allowed? If you're not cheating you're not trying.
Forgot: my Jackie was 6:31, Lex's was 6:29. My butt cheeks is sore
DeleteSkills: 9 mats on last set, did wall balls for goat work, 10 reps (this was not a good idea for jackie)
