Press: just did the 45# bar and super-setted these with my front squats
Metcon:
Total time with rest included was 5:18. First round took 2:00 (rested way too long after thrusters and did 20/10 on c2b); 20 C2bar were unbroken; 10 c2b were unbroken, and last set of thrusters took longer than they should have. Just really really fatigued today, and didn't have quite as much "push" as I should have.
Clean and jerk: 190, 220, 250, 265, 285, didn't see 95%, 265, 250

Work A: 1:46 on the first, can't remember the second. 5:28 or 30 overall. First 30 c2b were good, first 10 of 20 were good, everything else was crap.

ReplyDeleteCJ, up to 175. Tried it three times but got special on the jerk so i didnt get it locked up. Apparently I like to play mental games with myself.

Pistols/DB Snatch: epic improvement on pistols. Did first 20 in :52 with only 2 failures. Pretty psyched on that! Did 35 UB DB Snatches in first 1:30, did 22 in next 1:00, did 9 in last :30, then it took me another 1:14 to finish last 20 pistols

Did about 15-20 minutes of OHS work today, since I didn't have a successful day on Tuesday. Went MUCH better.

Back Squats: check
Row Metcon: took about 10:10 total. First 750m row was at a good pace (kept it around 1:56-1:58)...500m kept it under Jackie pace until about the last 100m-150...250m was right around my Jackie pace.
Power snatch: 155, 165, 180, 190

Work A: 8:33 total time. 750 was 1:38ish the whole time (which was awful), the 500 was dog crap, and the 250 was at or a little faster than Jackie.

*Learned the "Russian Rap" for the rope climb and it helped tremendously. I still feel lots of fatigue in my arms, but I have 2 weeks to perfect this.

Didn't do Snatch due to time/bars at the gym I was at
Tabata: 935 Kept about a 1:45-1:50 pace and during rest was about a 3:00 pace. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to completely stop the rower during the ten seconds or not.
Then did 50 thrusters for time with 45# bar: took about 1:37
Did 3 burpee MU emom x3
Did 25 ub c2b to feel out a pace for the chipper
